Help with Flathead Identification
Im about to pick up this flathead, wanted to ENSURE it was a 59A motor. Im pretty sure it is, but the owner cant seem to find the marking on the bellhousing and hes not real familiar with the flatties. Any help identifying this is greatly appreciated.

So I've got this 65 E van w/a 170 6 cyl and 3spd...now I have acsess to an econoline C-4 from a 240 but I dont think it will bolt up. Am I wrong? is there such a thing as a small block 6cyl automatic bell housing? I once had a 64 falcon 200ci w/3spd auto.
