It was hot this year, but we still packed the fields full of great cars and trucks!

Denny Terzich won the 2007
Hot Rod Drag Week competition with Steve
Roth driving his
1967 Camaro over
1,000 miles while pulling a trailer to several
different drag strips.
They clicked off a 7 second
1/4 mile pass at every track with the fastest
run in the 7.6's at over 180 MPH!
Congrats to Denny/Steve and
the ProRides team for kicking ass!

The weather was the best that
we have ever had, which also led us to one
of the best turnouts we have ever had! The
field was packed by 4:30 and we used the
road to
hold the over flow.

here. Last church cruise was last night,
so it's nothing but memories to hold us thru
winter! Don't forget, the poker run is next weekend!

How about that weather??
It rained up to 1 hour before
the cruise started then it cleared up and
we ended up having a GREAT cruise!! I think
there were a couple people up there watching
over us this year!

Today we have lost a very special
member of the Hollywood Knights family.
I'm very sad to say that Fred
Kress has passed away from us.
Fred joined our club a couple
years back and has left a lasting impression
on all of us. He went out of his way to help
out whoever needed it and will always be
remembered because of that. There are many
great stories and memories that we will never
forget, and Fred's spirit will always be
with us where ever we go.
God bless you Fred, and we
will all cruise together again.
Visitation will be Thursday
July 6 and Friday July 7, 2pm - 4pm and 7pm
- 9pm at
Devlin Funeral Home on Perry Highway
(just
north of West View).
The funeral will be Saturday
10am At St Alloyisous.
We ask that all members and
friends bring their hot rods to the funeral
procession
so that we can cruise with Fred one last time.
